Clouds, Crowds, Jams and Data: A New Polytechnic to Address Global Challenges 

Speaker: Professor Shirley Ann Jackson 

Today's pressing global challenges are complex, involving a multiplicity of societal sectors, industries, geopolitics, and economics. Finding answers requires collaboration of unprecedented intensity and fluency. To meet these challenges, we must engage an entirely new polytechnic - a construct linking a multiplicity of disciplines, animated by new technologies and tools, accessed by a spectrum of participants, and ultimately leading to novel and effective solutions.
