Innovation in Space

14 March 2016

Space technology is an inherent part of the response to the key challenges currently facing humankind, including the demographic realities of an ageing population, food production and water supply, security and the fight against terrorism, the monitoring of environmental change and the use of natural resources. Technologies delivered from space have the potential to kick start wealth generation and economic growth in parts of the world that earthbound systems struggle to reach.

Innovation in Space showcases a selection of the most recent advances in space technologies and space-enabled services.

Topics include satellite technologies, telecommunications, earth observation, navigation and positioning systems and technologies for space science missions.

Keywords: innovation, space technology, space-enabled services, satellites, satellite telecommunications, earth observation, navigation, space missions
